Luminous Habitat is comprised of 5 totem like forms that create gateway markers to the Smith Street Mall in Darwin’s CBD. The totemic form and clustering elements reference tide lines and the activity of marine life around the Stokes Hill Wharf pylons, linking the Smith Street Mall with the wharf, once the centre of activity and trade in the area. The work was installed in 2011 and made in collaboration with UAP.
